I’ve created a lot of budgets in my life.
From color-coded spreadsheets with every cent accounted for, to “guess-timations” scribbled on the back of envelopes, to those I avoided altogether—because they felt too stressful or shame-inducing to even look at—I’ve done them all.
Over the years, I’ve tweaked my process and here’s where I’ve landed:
Budgeting doesn’t have to feel heavy, restrictive, or disconnected from what matters most to you.
In fact, what if your budget could feel like a mirror of your values?
Like a reflection of your principles?
That’s how I help my clients build their budgets:
Not just as a numbers game, but as a values-based map.
We cover the practical stuff—yes—but not at the expense of the deeper heart stuff.
My philosophy?
Your budget should tell the story of what you’re saying yes to in life.
And it should help you feel clear and grounded in what you’re saying no to, too.
We start by identifying your “Big Rocks” (those deeply personal priorities that matter most to you—relationships, health, contribution, rest, purpose, etc). Then, we build from there.
Together, we create a plan that balances both your bank account and your soul.
Why? Because money should serve your life, not the other way around.
And just to clarify: while I’m not a financial advisor (I won’t tell you what stocks to buy), I will help you make a budget that reflects your values, season, and capacity.
Take a moment to reflect.
Grab your journal or ponder the following:
Where in my current budget am I saying yes out of habit—rather than from alignment?
What would it look like to let my values lead?
If you’re craving more peace, clarity, and purpose in the way you handle your money, I’d love to help you create a budget that actually feels like you.
I can help you build a budget from the ground up, or help you tweak an existing budget to better fit your current season and goals.

(Please note: I’m not an accountant or a financial advisor. I don’t do tax or investment advice.)
Here’s to making money choices that honor your life, your heart, and your values,
